On August 1, 2008, Bill Sandbrook was promoted to Chief Executive Officer of Oldcastle Building Products, Inc. Bill is responsible for the Products and Distribution businesses comprised of five product groups: Glass, Precast, Architectural, Construction Accessories; and Distribution. Bill was formerly Chief Executive Officer of Oldcastle Architectural after serving as President of Oldcastle Materials’ West Division. Bill attended the US Military Academy at West Point and subsequently served in the Army for thirteen years. Bill was an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Military Academy and for two years was the Army Program representative to Raytheon. Bill earned four Master’s Degrees while in the service. He received an MBA from Wharton, a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master’s in Public Policy from the Naval War College and a Master of Arts in International Relations from Salve Regina University. Additionally, while still in the service, he earned his Professional Engineer’s License (PE) in industrial engineering. In 1992, Bill joined Tilcon, New York, as Vice President. In 1995, Bill was promoted to President and a year later Tilcon was purchased by Oldcastle Materials. Bill is married, having met his wife, Nancy, 32 years ago in high school.
